Appointments. In
order to provide the best service possible to all of our clients, we recommend
making an appointment. We do welcome same-day
appointments, walk-ins, and also provide urgent care to sick pets.
Drop-off Appointments. If you are unable to come during available appointment times, a drop-off arrangement may also be made starting as early as 8 AM. This means that you can leave your pet with us to complete the medical care needed and pick him/her up at a later time. You will be requested to leave a phone number where you may be reached in case the doctor has questions. The doctor will then perform a thorough exam and contact you to discuss any necessary tests or treatments your pet may need.
Emergency cases shall always receive top priority. If your pet has an emergency during business hours, please come to our clinic immediately. Whenever possible, call us on your way here so that we can expect you and know how to prepare for your pet. If your pet needs care after hours, please call Calumet Emergency Veterinary Clinic at (219) 865-0970.
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to aggressive or uncontrollable pets.
Payment is expected at the time services are performed. We accept cash, debit cards, and all major credit cards. If you need help with your payment arrangements, we can recommend CareCredit, which offers extended repayment plans, and interest-free options. We also work with all pet insurance companies if your pet is covered.
