Subject : 🐾 Community Cat Spay & Neuter Fridays ✂️

Headline: 😺 Help Control Outdoor Cat Populations 🌳

Hanover Veterinary Hospital is launching a Community Population Control Clinic to address the growing number of outdoor and stray cats in our area. This every-other-Friday clinic provides low-cost spay and neuter specifically for cats living outside -- on the streets, in alleys, under porches, and in bushes.

This clinic is not intended for owned indoor pets. 🚫🏠 It is designed for community cats, where the priority is population control and disease reduction, not full pre-operative screening. 🧪❌

🎯 Clinic Purpose

  • Reduce unwanted litters among outdoor and stray cats 🐱➕🐱➕🐱
  • Help limit the spread of infectious disease in community cat populations 🦠
  • Improve welfare for cats living entirely or primarily outdoors 🌲🐈

📋 Clinic Details

  • When: Every other Friday 📅 (next date is 3/27/26)
  • What: Low-cost spay and neuter for outdoor, stray, or feral cats ✂️
  • Where: Hanover Veterinary Hospital 🏥
  • How: Appointment only (no walk-ins) 📞🗓️

Because this clinic focuses on unowned or semi-owned outdoor cats, it does not include services typically recommended for owned pets, such as:

  • Pre-operative lab work 🧪
  • ECG 📈
  • Expanded pre-anesthetic diagnostics 🩺

These omissions increase medical risk, which is why this clinic is intended only for outdoor and stray cats where access to full-service care is limited and uncontrolled reproduction is a major concern. ⚠️

If you are caring for cats that are:

  • Having kittens in your yard, bushes, garages, or sheds 🐾🌳
  • Roaming your neighborhood without clear ownership 🚶‍⬛
  • Part of a community/colony you feed or monitor 🥫🐈‍⬛🐈

…this clinic is for those cats.

📞 Ready to help control outdoor cat populations?

Book now to schedule spay/neuter for the community cats you care for and help reduce unwanted litters. 😺✂️ Call us TODAY, as our next available date for these Community Cat Spay & Neuter Fridays is 3/27/26!

Warm regards,
